JEE Main 2020 April registration ends today on jeemain.nta.nic.in – Important notice for extra time released National Testing Agency, NTA is receiving online application for JEE Main 2020 April examination. The facility for registration and online application would end today – March 6, 2020 at 11:50 pm. Candidates would be allowed to pay the fees by March 7, 2020. All those interested who have not yet filled the forms are advised to do so at the earliest on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Apart from the last date, NTA has also released an important notice regarding the provision of extra time for JEE Main 2020 Candidates who belong to the PwD category (whether or not using scribe). In the notice released yesterday, NTA has confirmed its decision to provide an additional one hour time to all PwD candidates, provided they are able to prove in due course of time that they are eligible. In other words, all candidates registered under PwD category would now get an additional time of 4 hours instead of the stipulated three hours. The facility was earlier not available to those who were not availing scribe facility. Now all candidates would get one additional hour. The notice released on jeemain.nta.nic.in reads, ‘it has been decided that all the candidates with benchmark disabilities may be allowed additional time of one hour for JEE (Main)- 2020 (which is of three hours duration), irrespective whether a candidate avails the facility of Scribe or not, on the production of a certificate to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitation to write, from the Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government health care institution as per proforma given at Appendix- I of the Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment vide its OM dated 29.08.2018 (copy enclosed).’ All the students, hence, who have yet to fill the form may do so at the earliest. Those who have appeared in January 2020 examination are also eligible. Students can also apply as fresh candidates for the examination. NTA would be conducting JEE Main 2020 examination from April 6 to April 11, 2020. The admit cards would be released on March 16 and the results would be released by April 30, 2020.
