(Home Science) from 1980 till 2014 and later as four year degree programme. Being offered as B.Sc (Food, Nutrition and Dietetics) from 2015 onwards. This program serves as a platform for understanding the basics of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics. Courses on food safety, food quality control, nutrigenomics, neutraceuticals and health foods provide knowledge required for placement in food industries and hospitals. The course imparts professional skill in establishing food processing units. B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) Farm mechanization, Bio-energy production and conservation, and soil and water conservation techniques including micro irrigation are the major components of the syllabi. (Energy and Environmental Engineering) The course focused on two important subjects viz., i) Energy production, conservation, management, energy auditing and budgeting and ii) Science of environmental pollution, causes of pollution and pollution remediation engineering The job markets are renewable and non renewable energy sectors, pollution remediation sectors, energy auditing and budgeting. B.Tech. (Bioinformatics) This course creates a best platform to excel to the candidates aspiring for applying the advancements of information technologies in biology.
