The Age criteria for appearing in NEET (UG), 2018 is as follows: For Candidates of Unreserved Category (UR) born on or between 07.05.1993 and 01.01.2002 For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC Category born on or between 07.05.1988 and 01.01.2002 6. The upper age limit for NEET(UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. 7. Please ensure your eligibility as per the eligibility conditions given in the Information Bulletin. 8. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on the website. 9. Requirement of Aadhaar- Clarification All the Indian citizen candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI. At the time of filling application form of NEET (UG)–2018, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data. In case, these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for NEET (UG)–2018. Therefore, the candidates are advised to ensure that their AADHAAR card has correct details of their name, date of birth & gender as per school records. If there is some mismatch in these details, the candidates should immediately get it corrected in AADHAAR data or school records, as the case may be. Applicants not yet enrolled for Aadhaar, are hereby required to make application for Aadhaar enrolment in case he/she is entitled to obtain Aadhaar as per section 3 of Aadhaar Act. Such applicant may visit any Aadhaar enrolment center (list available at to get enrolled for Aadhaar. The above provisions shall be applicable in all states except J& K, Assam & Meghalaya as per Aadhaar Act. For foreign Nationals, Oversees Citizen of India (OCI’s), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO’s), Passport Number is the mandatory requirement for filling up of the online application of NEET-2018. The applicants who have passed or appearing in Class XII examination from the states of J& K, Assam & Meghalaya need to enter the passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid Govt. identity number provided they should select the city of examination in these states only. The online application process will start from 8th February, 2018 onwards. The last date for application is 9th March, 2018 and fee can be paid upto 10th March, 2018. 10. Please clarify whether the candidate should fill his category as Unreserved or OBC category while filling the NEET-2018 application form? Such decisions need to be taken by the candidates themselves. However, it is clarified that the candidate will apply for counseling in the concerned State by giving the Category applicable in the State. His eligibility for the 85% Quota seats will be checked by the State Admitting Authorities and if he is found eligible, he will be given admission against reserved category otherwise not.

Such decisions need to be taken by the candidates themselves. However, it is clarified that such candidates can apply for counseling in both Uttar Pradesh and Delhi and during the counseling, his/her eligibility for the 85% Quota seats will be checked by the State Admitting Authorities and if he is found eligible, he will be given admission otherwise not.

However, candidates should note that only one chance will be provided for correction. NEW DELHI: If you have applied for CBSE NEET 2018 but have, mistakenly, made errors in the application form, you need not worry as the Board will allow students for correcting the particulars after the registration process is over. CBSE will allow candidates to correct the application form details from 12 to 16 March 2018. However, candidates should note that only one chance will be provided for correction. 'Neither opportunity will be given to the candidates after this schedule and nor any request on the same will be accepted by the CBSE, ' clarifies the Board, further. Any changes related to category, parents name, qualifying code, exam centre, etc. should be done in the given time period. In response to the query of candidates where the aadhaar card only carries the name of the mother (being the ward of single parent), CBSE has asked to fill up the mandatory space for father's name as 'XXXX'. On the outcry over NIOS, open school students being disallowed from appearing for NEET, CBSE has clarified that it is responsible for conducting the exam, only. Rules regulating the exam are set by Medical Council of India (MCI). Shunning down the queries, the Board has stated that, 'such candidates are advised to follow the instructions given by MCI.
